D.Pharma
Diploma in Pharmacy is an entry-level tertiary pharmacy credential. It is obtained following two-year of training. Students can enroll in the course after successfully completing higher secondary education in science stream with physics, chemistry and either biology or maths as subjects. After completing this course, candidate can either go for higher education like B.Pharma or seek employment in any relevant sector. On the completion of this course, one can find career opportunities in sectors like Health Centers, Medical Dispensing Store, Food and Drug Administration, Pharmaceutical Firms, Hospitals, Sales and Marketing Department etc.

PO 1- Pharmacy Knowledge – Must be versed with the basic and core subjects of pharmacy.

PO 3- Organizational Skills – Development of organizational skills like planning, organizing, delegation, resource planning and utilization.
PO 4- Time Management – Time bound works are essential for a pharmacist.
PO 5- Social Obligations – Keep in mind health, safety of the society and should keep in mind all legal issues of the state. Overall, must be responsible to the society and to the Government, as pharmacists’ every action is regulated by some policies and meant for the society. A Pharmacist must, above all be a good citizen and must uphold and defend the laws of the state and the Nation
PO 6- Pharmaceutical Ethics – Should not forget the ethics in the profession. A Pharmacist should be very judicious in dealing with drugs and medicinal preparations known to be poisonous or to be used for addiction or any other abusive purposes
